Jeena Driving School

Sometimes, when a person has had a tough start in life it can be difficult to find enough confidence to step out in the world and make some big changes. Whether it’s low self-esteem, low time availability or simply low income, Jeena Driving School helps women over the age of 17 that have been referred via a protection service find their independence through driving. Jeena takes the women participants through the complete process of getting a UK driving license, even for those where English isn’t their first language!

While it is possible to take the UK theory test in 21 other languages (to find out which ones are available click here), practice theory tests are only in English. So Jeena has teamed up with Training Connect, the only company in the UK to provide the theory practice test in a multitude of languages, guaranteeing success.

Once the theory test has been passed, Jeena will support the women throughout the practical driving lessons. With an in-house car and women only instructors, women from vulnerable backgrounds can feel safe and have confidence in the service provided, whether it takes one month or one year to pass! All Jeena’s instructors are trained to counsel and support women from vulnerable backgrounds with free help and advice.

When the practical has been passed, and the UK driving license is finally been achieved, Jeena is still there to provide free help and support with finding the first car, getting insured and paying road tax. Jeena Driving School – Destination: Independence
