BrocAid

Recycled fabrics, unique design and free sewing and textile classes. That is what BrocAid is all about – a “by youth, for youth” run project that aims to make an ethical and social difference by combining environmentally friendly processes and grassroots projects. From the fabrics donated via Jeena, accessories, hand-made bags, soft-furnishings and clothing will be designed and made at the hands of vulnerable women under the age of 25 and sold at local bazaars and events run by Jeena.

Sewing and textiles classes will provide a creative outlet for young women who have limited opportunities in their current situations. The classes will build confidence, up-skill those that want a career in the fashion industry and provide a networking platform for young women of similar backgrounds to make new friends and share experiences.

The classes are open to everyone who can get to them! The courses will run on a first come first serve basis so get in touch now to make sure you get a place!
